I would like to formally thank the Pioneer Cavy Fanciers club for inviting me to judge at the ACBA Specialty Show. It was an honor to judge for you this weekend. The weekend was absolutely excellent! Robert Spitzer |
I want to commend Pioneer Cavy Fanciers for hosting such a well-run show! I know what a monumental task that is and they made it look easy. It was great to see the regional support, as well as to finally meet some people whom I've only 'met' via e-mail. This is the first Specialty to which I've had to fly, which mean this is probably the first Specialty that some of our newer western fanciers have been able to attend. I think this geographical diversity is great for the fancy! I had a great time. Thanks for hosting such a wonderful show. Jahcqui Guardiola ~ Tampa, FL |
It was my very first Specialty so I have nothing to compare it to, but maybe that's just as well What a fun, exciting, well-run and educational weekend it was! The lodging was great too! Huge thanks to the judges for their expertise and hard work! I especially enjoyed watching BIS judges go over animals that had been chosen at the Breed level by other judges. Thanks to all!! Chawn |
I want to thank the Pioneer Cavy Fanciers for putting on one terrific show. From the roomy showroom, well organized layout of the space, and the cheerful people keeping every thing moving, it was a very well run weekend. Thanks also to Jen Peterson and the awards committee, and to all those that donated to the awards for the Specialty. They were just beautiful. I hope that Dana and all those who worked so hard putting the weekend together get to take some very well deserved rest this week. Thank you! Russ and Laurie Lash |
Hi all, The Specialty show was wonderful. One of the smoothest I have been to. Great job done by all. It was wonderful to see and visit with everyone. KEEP ON PIGGIN!! Peg Smith of Alaska |
We had a reporter from the Idaho Press Tribune at the show. Here's a link to the slideshow (with sound) he put together. http://www.iptblogs.com/IPTmedia/slideshows/080426_Guinea/ The pig on the beautiful grooming stand is the BIS winner - and the stand was the trophy. It is breathtaking! Laurie Lash |
Richard Vaerewyck and Erin McGrath just wanted to thank everyone who made our trip a success. The awards this year were awesome. The showbox will always remind me of nationals in Idaho. The blankets will be very usefull in ohio for those 20 degree cavy shows we experienced this year. |
What wonderful animals, fabulous breeders, great friends. We had a terrific time. Thanks one and all. Phyllis |
