The shows will be non-cooped shows; exhibitors will be keeping their cavies in
their carriers. For ease of finding animals for exhibit, all exhibit cavies will be
placed within their respective assigned exhibitor number area. Exhibitors will be
given labels to attach to the carriers of their show animals.
An unmanned sales area will be available for the exhibitors to sell non-entered
cavies for a fee. Exhibitors may also keep sale animals in exhibitor area, but fee
will still be required. A fee of 50 cents per head for the first 10 animals and 25
cents for each animal thereafter will be charged at check-in for animals not
entered in the show. Exhibitors will be responsible for care, cleaning and sales of
the animals.
Entry fees for ACBA Specialty show will be $5.50 for the open and youth show.
On Sunday there will be a double open show and one youth show. Entry fees for

Lodging
The headquarters motel will be the Best Western, which is
less than 2 miles from the facilities. There will be 30 rooms
blocked at the Best Western and 20 rooms blocked at the
LaQuinta. Both allow pets, have indoor pools, and
complimentary continental breakfast. Both have rooms
with 2 queen, 1 king, and suites.
The estimated price for the motels: Best Western $79/ night
for 2 queen or 1 king and $99/night for a suite and the La
Quinta estimated at $67.50/night for 2 queen or 1 king. La
Quinta allows pets and does not require a deposit. The Best
Western charge an additional $5 per night for pets. They
require a 3 day cancellation notice. Idaho has an 8% hotel
tax.
The two motels are next to each other on Specht Ave. in
Caldwell. The show facility is less than 2 miles to the west
on Franklin Rd. to 21st Street. Pioneer Cavy Fanciers
members will help shuttle exhibitors to show facilities, if
needed, for no charge.

Show Facility
O’Connor Field House has a floor space of 21,400 sq. ft and ceiling height of 21 ft. The building has heating and cooling
available. There is plenty of parking around the building including. There will be concessions available in the facilities and
dining is within walking distance. Several additional restaurants are within a couple of miles.
O’Connor Field House is located in Caldwell, Idaho about 27 miles west of Boise on I-84. The facility is only about 2 miles
from the freeway. The Boise Airport (BOI) services the following airlines: United, American, American West, Delta,
Horizon/Alaska, Northwest, Southwest, Frontier, Continental, and US Airways. Members of the PCF will provide shuttle
service from the airport to the show grounds for those traveling by air. A fee of not more than $25 for round trip to and
from the airport will be charged to cover the travel expense, and cost will be reduced if multiple exhibitors ride together.
Exhibitors must make arrangements prior to arrival.
