Cavy Sales Area
An unmanned sales area will be available for the
exhibitors to sell non-entered cavies for a fee.
Exhibitors may also keep sale animals in exhibitor
area, but fee will still be required, unless the
exhibitor signs up and pays for extra table space
($5 pr. 1/2 table) in the exhibition area via the
entry form, by deadline, in which case the per
head fee will be waved. A fee of 50 cents per
head for the first 10 animals and 25 cents for
each animal thereafter will be charged at
check-in for animals not entered in the show.
Exhibitors will be responsible for care, cleaning
and sales of the animals. Any animals, supplies,

after check-out on Monday at 10AM will
become property of the PCF.

Bottle Auction (at banquet)
Linda Loucks, coordinator
The "infamous" bottle auction idea is gratefully borrowed
from the Florida Specialty in 2007. Everyone is encouraged
to bring a bottle, wrapped so no one can tell it's contents,
and we will auction them off. You may fill these bottles with
anything not toxic. For example: A good bottle of wine, a
terrible bottle of wine, a bottle of flavored cooking oil or
special vinegar, a bottle of Jelly Bellies or cavy "beans", rum
or Idaho potato vodka, anything that will fit in a bottle and
not poison anyone... you get the idea. Bring your sense of
humor and your checkbook
Last Dinner
Approximately 7:00 PM.
Please ask for location at the ACBA booth, and make sure to
sign up by 10AM, Sunday at the booth, too.

Silent Cavy Auction
Sponsored by
Pioneer Cavy Fanciers
PCF very much appreciates cavies donated to the silent
auction. We ask that all donated animals are healthy, weaned,
max 1 year old, and of show quality. If the animal is
pedigreed, please provide it for the auction; otherwise we ask
that the approximate age of the animals is provided in writing
along with other information you find relevant. The
owner/donor (o/d) receives 50% of the final bid, and the PCF
receives the other 50%. The o/d will be paid as soon as
animals are paid for and removed. Animals without bids will
be given back to the o/d.
Each cavy will have a form on which bidders record their
bids. Highest bidder at the time the auction ends is granted
ownership of the cavy upon payment.
The o/d is responsible for all care until the close of the
auction, including carrier(s) to house them in. The show
committee reserves the right to remove/refuse any cavy for
health or other unspecified reasons at any point during the
auction.
The auction area opens Friday at 1:30PM. The auction will
close at 3:00PM Sunday.

ACBA Youth Contests
Friday, 4:30PM
The Royalty Contest has had a make-over this year, avoiding
repetition to make it fresh and new. Also added this year are
the new static contests; photography, creative writing,
educational display, poster, computer and Arts & Crafts.
These were added in order to include ACBA youth members
that were not able to attend. Make sure to take a few minutes
to stop and see the entries on display. This is a great time to
make some new friends in the cavy world. It's also a terrific
time to keep you eyes and ears open to learn from some
experienced and successful breeders. Most important of all,
make sure you have a good time!
Becky O'Hogan & Beth Dudley, Coordinators
ACBA Board Meeting
Friday, 5:00 – Jim Hupp, President Officiating
During the ACBA meeting, club officers and district
representatives will be taking care of ACBA business. There
will be a meeting/conference area inside the showroom.
