Pioneer Cavy Fanciers
All shows will be governed by the latest revised ARBA and ACBA Show Rules, along with the rules set out by the City of
Caldwell O’Connor Field House. Rules apply to all shows conducted April 25 through 27, 2008 in Caldwell, Idaho. Submitting
an entry indicates acceptance and agreement to abide by said rules.
Any and all questions not covered by these rules shall be referred to the show superintendent and all parties shall to abide by
his/her decisions.
Any cavy showing signs of illness or disease will be removed from the showroom at the discretion of the superintendent/show
committee.
All non-cavy animals in the showroom must be crated or leashed, except certified assistance dogs performing their duties.
The ACBA, PCF, or O’Connor Field House are not responsible for any loss or injury in the event
of fire, theft, or providential destruction. Exhibitors are responsible for their own security and
we recommend the neighborhood watch method.
All cavies will be judged by ARBA licensed judges. The PCF reserves the right to substitute
judges or hire additional judges if deemed necessary.

There will be a $35 charge for any returned checks. All fees, including the returned check
charge, must be paid at check-in or the entry will be refused. Once received, all fees are
non-refundable.
Shows held are carrying cage shows. Cooping will not be used. Tables will be provided in the
showroom for carriers with show cavies. Additional table space is $5 pr. 1/2 table. (For those
exhibitors that pay for extra table space in the exhibitor area for their sales cavies, we will not be
double charging them. The $5 per 1/2 table will cover the entrance of non-entered cavies to sale.)

Each exhibitor must use a separate entry form. Make as many copies of the entry form as
needed. As per ARBA rules, no family or caviary name will be accepted for exhibitor name.
The entry fee for open and youth in the ACBA Specialty and PCF shows is $5.50 for Saturday
and $5.00 for Sunday per entry for all shows. See entry information on the Entries page.
All cavies must be in the showroom by 8:00AM Saturday, April 25, 2008. Judging will start at
9:00AM on Saturday 9:00AM on Sunday. All cavies must be removed from the showroom by
10:00AM, Monday, April 28.
No club or person will be permitted to sell items, conduct raffles, or display
information in or around the showroom unless a vendor fee has been paid.
Caviary information is excepted (allowed) when displayed on or by exhibitor's
table including sales signs for cavies and business cards for caviary.
Only judges and show personnel are allowed behind the show tables during
judging. No one is allowed to handle any entry other than their own without
owner’s permission, except members of the show committee, including
ramrods/cavy runners.
All specials and awards must be picked up after judging is completed. None
will be mailed.
Parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all times, including
actions and damage done by the children. Children not following showroom
etiquette may be expelled from the show.
