Meeting minutes from September 11, 2010
Pioneer Cavy Fanciers
Minutes taken by Stine, secretary.
Present: Linda Loucks, Dana Kolstad, Marla Schaefer, Stine Theede, Megan Buxton, Debbie Buxton, Nancy Richmond,
Rosalie Beard, Lee Penrod, Jill Babitz, Cindy Newton by phone.
Treasury report:
Dana presented the treasure report and it was accepted as was the payment of all presented bills.
New business
Shows: The upcoming October show was discussed. It was decided to join the Rabbit club in Ontario on October 23rd.
We can partake in their sanction for ARBA but need to get an ACBA sanction. There will be an unsanctioned youth show.
Superintendent will be Megan Buxton. The judge will be decided depending on availability and cost.
The club decided to hold two shows in the spring of 2011.
February 26th we will have our usual show at the Karcher Mall in Nampa with Royalty. Superintendent is Linda, secretaries
Dana and Debbie, Cindy is in charge of awards, and Nancy will run Royalty. The judges will be decided.
March 26th is a show in cooperation with the rabbit people in Ontario, OR. Super is Stine, secretaries are Linda and
Cindy. Ideas for judges are Nancy and Dianna.
Other: Emma Penrod will be taking over Cavy Trails and combining it with Utah’s newsletter since many of the members
are the same.
The Specialty for 2011 is in Henrietta, New York on April 29th to May 1st - http://www.nyscf.net
